As I have said, I love Triumph typewriters, I can't remember when I bought this machine. I must not have been paying attention since this machine has a German keyboard. I must have got it on a first bid. When I opened it up to try it I was amazed, its another time capsule with the paper work and the accessories included - NICE. The machine was overhauled by Heinz at Addon and his said it was in good condition and dated from 1953 though he couldn't fine the serial number to check. This moved it to the keeper herd. Typing on it I noticed I needed a new ribbon but the touch was excellent and the German Keyboard didn't stumble me.
I was interested to see if therewas a writer who used this model.
Gong back to Richard Polt's site I found the German writer Wolfgang Koeppen. Again a writer I have to put on my list.
