Just the Facts is a discussion of current world events from the point of view of someone who lives on the fringe of polite society, just plain old oil field trash.

Time to PIvot -Global Warming has started to Cool
'via Blog this'
We have reached the endgame of the Golbal Warming discussion. Governments everywhere have put in or in the process of putting in carbon taxes. The traders are getting excited about trading carbon credits so the payoff is complete. The people will pay and the general revenues of all of the governments will grow. Smart way to add revenues when economic growth is generally so stagnant.
As for the people the fear of "Global Warming" has eased. The temperature record for the year does not mirror the theories put forward by the climate scientists. The climate adventurers trying to use the North West Passage across Canada have be stopped by ice conditions. The fall of oil prices have made the actions of the eco-luddites moot. In light of this it is time to move on to subjects that have more relevance in these times - politics.
With the US Federal election now settled on a battle between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump we have a much more exciting event. So with this I am turning my attentions to politics.
All the best!

Jeepers - another case junk science of when the scientists are steered by their ideology. The anti-fracking movement has long been a tribe of complete ludites, whose understanding of the use of hydraulic fracturing of reservoir rocks is no existent. The industry has been fracking for decades and this form of reservoir stimulation has accounted for all the additional major reserves of hydrocarbons in found in North America.
Have a great Saturday

Good Morning I wanted to get this piece of "balanced" reporting by Greenpeace out as it is the keystone of the persecution of Exxon Mobil by the AG's of a group of states that have taken the position that they can involve themselves in the war against Global Warming. Today it came out that the AG of the Virgin Islands was withdrawing his subpoena against ExxonMobil.
Nice to find something stimulating for further research.
All the best.

The afternoon is weighing heavily on me - my mind wanders and the net beckons. I decide to wander into Oz Typewriter and see the latest work of Robert Messenger. Robert has put one of the more interesting and one of the best typewriter blogs on the net. I have enjoyed following him for several years.
Have a look and rest your mind on something that remains a fascination - the typewriter and it's history.
Best Regards,
J

Hey Out there:
My blood brother Ed Nunes-Vaz, yes a landman, sent me this article. It is a good POV for Canadians and something to think about with the LEAP Manifesto in the background. , We do live with a fairly low information society(code for stupid ludititic slackers).
Enjoy the read.

Just because you used a computer doesn't make your results accurate. We keep seeing the scholastics working with climate data that is massaged beyond the point of reality to make their computer models of how the earth's climate works. The article I have posted (via SmallDeadAnimals) is a classic case in point. You won't see this cited inn the Globe and Mail.
Have a great day.

I was sitting on the deck with my pal Jimmy Vallance and the conversation veered into Global Warming territory. Normally this is a shutdown with Jimmy layig down a salvo and departing rapidly. I don't bother trying to push him. Anyway, I had to send him this review. I told him not to read this.
All the best,
