The anti-fracking movement has long been a tribe of complete ludites, whose understanding of the use of hydraulic fracturing of reservoir rocks is no existent. The industry has been fracking for decades and this form of reservoir stimulation has accounted for all the additional major reserves of hydrocarbons in found in North America.
