Thanks to SmallDeadAnimals for finding this article.  Presented in American Institute of Economic Research magazine the article discusses the weakness of models.  Economists invented the use of predictive models as their way of foretelling the future.  They knew that the results were just wild ass guesses because of number of variables they employed (predicted) it was a simple understanding of the math they were working with.  Now come the climate scientists, they decide to model the world basically, the model is now more complicated by a huge factor then what the economists were doing.  Unfortunately, they either are too unsophisticated to understand the weakness of their predictions or they know how weak they are but are using their predictions to propagandize what is not science but political ideology.  I suspect the latter.
