As has been said this is a bridge to far.  There is enough fear of flying due to Corona virus, Boeing 737 flight handling but to add pilotos who are not graded by their ability will make flying the experience you get in the third world.

I just don't get the push by UK bureaucrats,  (Maybe I do, POWER). Guess they just can't back down from the ideal of gaining complete control of the people.  Remember, London is the third most surveilled city in the world. Only a couple of smaller Chinese cities have more cameras.  The British Government wants to make sure the serfs are compliant.  That keeps the ruling elite happy.

Funny even with their CCTV they still have a huge problem with unsolved or unaddressed crime, the coppers are too busy on the "Covid Karen" patrols.
