It's a slow day for the news, nothing but the RNC and riots.  Here is something that had to go on the record.  You have to shake your head when you read this stuff.  Watching a movie while letting the car drive you on autopilot is something I can't imagine.  Where does someone get the idea they can get away with not "driving"?

Just spent a week on the road out to the lower mainland and then on to the island.  I enjoy BC, mostly the weather and also the vistas.  The people amaze me.  There are still a few transplants around that remain sane in this crazy place.  For the most part, the people who populate the region, are for the most part either completely oblivious to the world outside of their little lives or they have become deranged anti Trumpers and religiously Climate Greens.  A cocktail party, is enough to strain you to failure as you carefully maneuver around their various points of view.  Thank God for the martini.

The only thing that justifies even being in their company is the knowledge that they pay the highest prices in Canada for their gas.
