I live in Alberta, I work in the oil industry; last week I was extremely upset with the activist Federal Appeals Court spiking the Transmountain looping project.  The in ability of Alberta to export oil to markets other than the United States is paramount to having a healthy oil industry.  The Green Luddites think they have won the war against Alberta Oil, they haven't, more production will move by rail to meet world demand.  Some will even end up moving through the Port of Vancouver. The big win however comes to spite these Luddites, Alberta has dropped out of Trudeau's carbon tax scheme and that will mean the end to the Federal Green Dream and drain on the economy.  At the same time it also means that the Notley Government will be defeated in the next election in Alberta and the Notley Carbon Tax will be extinguished as well.  No matter how hard the blow a good ship will always right itself.
