An interesting article on the elites of Climate Change (weather) and the rest of humanity.  For the elites, they see themselves above the retrograde effects of  energy rationing.  The will always have the money to buy a Tesla or to fly anywhere at any price.  The situation will be different for the unwashed masses, we see the effects starting now with deaths rising rapidly from energy poverty during the winters in the northern hemisphere.

Here you go folks - the end of the oil industry and the economic sunset of Alberta.  John Robson'ts article in the Financial Post is a perfect analysis of attitudes of the Liberal and NDP governments of Canada and Alberta respectively and the Oil Industry that has given up.  As for the people of Canada, they don't think far enough or deeply enough to be included, they just have to be happy to bicycle in the snow.



Let's not argue about Global Warming, it has to come quicker than predicted because it is going to be be real tough to live this far north.  Advice, sell everything and try to get into the United States before they build a northern wall.

I guess the scholastic jaw-jaw is illustrating the weakness of the event, lots of talk and no action.  Since the Global Warming are really just rent seekers looking for government money and the governments of the west recognize this and won't do anything if the United States is not supplying most of the treasure to share with the Maldives, Fiji and the rest of the tidewater cultures.



The question I have is how much longer the Catastrophists can continue pushing their "end of world" ideology.  You would think they would get tired as they constantly have to shift their target points.  Good  thing because no one wants to live is a dark, cold world.  One thing, their get togethers are going to be harder to get to when you have to row, sail or peddle to the events.
