Normally I just trash the news reports from the WaPo, they have been totally biased in their news and rank as one of the biggest Fake News outlet's just behind CNN and Buzzfeed.  This article is more of the same.  NASA and NOAA have so reworked the raw data that no one  knows what the real facts are.
